Vestpilot Investment Platform (Vestpilot or We) are aware and appreciates that you are concerned about the confidentiality and security of data that Vestpilot collects about you. VestPilot recognizes each individual’s right to privacy and is committed to the safety and confidentiality of your personal data. VestPilot is bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and must protect your personal data in accordance with that Act and other applicable laws, consisting of the Spam Act 2007 (Cth).

1.How we collect your Personal Data

We gather personal data information in order to offer you with our products and services and comply with our legal and regulatory responsibilities.
We will not acquire any data information that identifies you as an individual unless you knowingly provide it to us. We often collect this data when you complete an data application form or subscribe for data or notifications from us or our affiliates. In addition, when you browse our website, read or download data information, our system will document the date and time of your visit and the pages viewed and data downloaded.

3.Who do we share your personal information with?

We will only disclose personal information to third party entities carrying out functions on behalf of VestPilot and its related entities on a confidential basis. You should note that information we collect from you can also be disclosed to third parties if that disclosure is required, or to the extent permitted, by law which includes

Providers of Identity verification solutions and different due diligence solutions (such as KYC and anti-money laundering);Providers of website analytics; Providers of customer support solutions; and Providers of advertising and marketing automated platforms.Law enforcement, authorities officials, regulatory agencies,banks, and other third parties pursuant to a subdue, court order or different legal process or requirement if applicable to VestPilot investment Platform; or when we believe, in our sole discretion, that the disclosure of data is necessary to report suspected unlawful or fraudulent activity or to investigate violations of our User Agreement.

We additionally may share Personal Data with a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution or other sale or transfer of some or all of VestPilot investment Platform assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation or similar proceeding, in which Personal Data held by Vestpilot investment is among the assets transferred.

Funding and transaction information associated with your use of certain Services may be recorded on a public blockchain. Public blockchains are distributed ledgers, intended to immutably document transactions across wide networks of computer systems. Many blockchains are open to forensic analysis which can lead to deanonymization and the unintentional revelation of private financial information, especially when blockchain data is combined with other data. Because blockchains are decentralized or third-party networks that aren't managed or operated by Vestpilot investment platform or its affiliates, we aren't capable of erase, modify, or alter Personal Data from such networks.

4.How do we protect your personal information?

VestPilot regards the security of your personal information as a priority and takes all reasonable steps to protect your information from loss and unauthorised access, destruction, use, modification or disclosure.

Vestpilot stores personal information in a combination of computer storage facilities, paper-based files and other records. These are held on our secure premises and systems as well as offsite using trusted third parties. We will take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, interference or misuse, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

Where personal information is no longer required to be retained, we will take such steps as are reasonable in the circumstances to de-identify the information or put it beyond use.

Vestpilot cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or receive from our products or services and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your information, we take reasonable steps to preserve the security of information on our own system. From time to time the website contains links to other websites. VestPilot is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these websites.

6 Your Rights

4. Your Rights If you are a resident, you have certain rights related to your Personal Information. You may exercise these rights free of charge except as otherwise permitted under applicable law. If you wish to submit a request under the CCPA, please do so by writing to info@vestpilot.com As required under applicable law, we may take steps to verify your identity before granting you access to information or acting on your request to exercise your rights. We may require you to provide information to verify your identity in response to exercising requests of the above type, including name and account information. We may limit our response to your exercise of the below rights as permitted under applicable law.

the categories of sources from which the Personal Information is collected;
our business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling Personal Information;
the categories of third parties with whom we share Personal Information;

8. Right to Delete You have the right to request that we delete Personal Information about you which we have collected from you.

Non-Discrimination Subject to applicable law, we may not discriminate against you because of your exercise of any of the above rights, or any other rights under the Consumer Privacy Act, including by: Denying you goods or services; Charging different prices or rates for goods or services, including through the use of discounts or other benefits or imposing penalties; Providing you a different level or quality of goods or services; or Suggesting that you will receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services.

11. Changes to this Notice We may amend this Notice at any time by posting a revised version on our website. The revised version will be effective at the time we post it. You are responsible for periodically reviewing this Notice.
