We additionally may share Personal Data with a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution or other sale or transfer of some or all of VestPilot investment Platform assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation or similar proceeding, in which Personal Data held by Vestpilot investment is among the assets transferred.
Funding and transaction information associated with your use of certain Services may be recorded on a public blockchain. Public blockchains are distributed ledgers, intended to immutably document transactions across wide networks of computer systems. Many blockchains are open to forensic analysis which can lead to deanonymization and the unintentional revelation of private financial information, especially when blockchain data is combined with other data. Because blockchains are decentralized or third-party networks that aren't managed or operated by Vestpilot investment platform or its affiliates, we aren't capable of erase, modify, or alter Personal Data from such networks.
VestPilot regards the security of your personal information as a priority and takes all reasonable steps to protect your information from loss and unauthorised access, destruction, use, modification or disclosure.
Vestpilot stores personal information in a combination of computer storage facilities, paper-based files and other records. These are held on our secure premises and systems as well as offsite using trusted third parties. We will take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, interference or misuse, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
Where personal information is no longer required to be retained, we will take such steps as are reasonable in the circumstances to de-identify the information or put it beyond use.
Vestpilot cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or receive from our products or services and you do so at your own risk. We will keep your personal information while you are our customer. We aim to keep your personal information for only as long as we need it.
